As your artist, I strive to memorialize your special day with a tangible work of art masterfully created live amidst the joy of your celebration.
The process is simple.
1.) Contract + Consultation: Step 1 of the booking process is to complete and submit the contract after checking date availability. But before you dive in, I want to invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss your vision, your questions, or anything you want to know that I haven’t already answered here. This is not a sales call. It is an opportunity for you to acquire any additional information you need before committing. Consultations are optional but always welcomed.
2.) Package Selection & Deposit Payment to Secure your Date: Step 2 is selecting your desired package and fulfilling the payment of a 25% deposit to guarantee your date. Dates are booked on a first come first serve basis solely depending on who pays their deposit first. A submitted contract alone without payment of the deposit will not secure your date. The deposit will go towards your overall cost.
3.) Remaining Balance in Two: The remaining balance will be scheduled in two auto-pay installments, one on a mid-date and the final due no later than 7 days before your date. If travel fees are applicable, these may be invoiced at a later date.
4.) I arrive to your venue 2-3 hours early to paint the background. I photograph your chosen moment, and continue painting throughout your reception. I paint on your big day for 7-8 hours total. I remain at the venue until guests begin to go home/staff begins to clean up the venue/etc. Your masterpiece will be near completion by the end of your wedding reception. After your reception, your masterpiece will receive finishing touches in the Kellie Elizabeth Art Studio in addition to a coating of protective varnish that aids in protecting your finished piece from UV and moisture damage. Your finished masterpiece will be shipped to you in about 3 months tops (Or hand-delivered if you're local!).

Hell0! I’m Kellie.
I am a life-long, self-taught artist with over 20 years of avid experience in multiple disciplines, primarily acrylic, watercolor, and oil. My style strives to capture atmosphere, emotion, and movement on par with impressionism without sacrificing the likeness that realism has to offer. I take inspiration from masters like Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Mary Cassatt, John Singer Sargent, as well as from many of my brilliant live-artist colleagues.
I live on a small 10-acre hobby farm where I foster horses with a local rescue called Safe Harbor Standardbreds. I have a small bachelor flock of roosters and a collection of four geese. I did attempt to go the traditional college route to have a ‘normal’ job going as far as earning a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, but have naturally always been drawn back to professional art. I’m in love with what I do and cannot imagine doing anything else for a full-time career.
FAQs
1.) Where can you travel?
Kellie Elizabeth Art can travel anywhere in the continental United States not including Alaska or Hawaii. International travel is not currently available.
2.) How long have you been preforming live paintings?
I started preforming live paintings in 2022 and began offering guest portraits in 2023. I am a lifelong artist with 20+ years of avid experience. I have painted at somewhere between 100 and 200 weddings and events
Kellie Elizabeth Art charges .40/mile to/from your location outside of a 50-mile radius of Nashville Tennessee. $150 lodging compensation is required for locations over 2 hours away. $300 lodging compensation is required for locations over 4 hours away.
If the event is over 5 hours from Nashville, travel may require a flight and will be a bundled travel cost of $1500. When travel requires a flight, many other costs and considerations come into play (parking reservations, checked bag, car rental or uber, meals, lodging, airfare, incidentals, opportunity cost, etc.)

3.) How much are travel costs?
4.) Our furry friends are not allowed at our chosen venue. Can you paint them in for us?
I love furry friends and can include up to five furry friends in your painting at no additional charge.
I would be honored to paint in your lost loved one. All I'll need is a photo of them. Many couples opt for their loved one to be included via a symbol placed somewhere in the painting such as a cardinal, a dove, a dragonfly, a personal belonging that they loved, or anything that reminds you of them. Lost loved ones are no extra charge.
5.) We had a loved one pass away. Is there a way they can be painted in?
6.) Will we have to pose while we are being painted?
I will typically take a photo of you and your partner enjoying your chosen moment as you naturally would and then use the photo as reference to paint all throughout your reception. If something were to go wrong with this process, I might ask yall to pose for a quick photo.
7.) What kind of paint do you use?
I will paint on-site in professional grade acrylics and then do in-studio touch ups in professional grade oil paints.
8.) Are you LGBTQIA+ affirming?
100% YES. Kellie Elizabeth Art holds sacred all love and believes that your love is a masterpiece. Love comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors, just like paint on a canvas. Love is the inspiration behind this work, and I'd be honored to be a part of your special day.
9.) Do we need to provide anything for you?
Nope. I bring all necessities with me.
10.) Is this your full-time job?
Yes.
11.) Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. I have a business license and can provide your venue with a COI upon request.
